Craptastic

Full disclosure: My music snobbery reaches new heights on a near daily basis.

But today I decided it’s not my fault. I listened to the radio today for the first time in weeks. I heard Akon’s “Smack That” for the first time ever. And I sort of wanted to smash my head against the driver’s side window. Awful. Just awful. Throw it on the fire. Take Panic! At The Disco with it. (Sorry, Bregar!)

Sort of makes me wonder why I didn’t get into the business of making crappy commercial music. I’d be retired by now.

I think that’s all I’ve got for this evening. I’ve been trying to forget about the enormous gland sticking out of the right side of my throat; I must pay it some attention before I catch my death.

  1. i had to listen to that song about 14 times a day on the radio while working with the crips. i even made up my own dance to it…it’s pretty fancy 🙂

  2. Heh… to each their own, no need to apologize.

But lumping anything I own in with Akon is… well, that’s low, Megan.

  3. Haha…well played, Bregar. And fair enough. 🙂

  4. Haha, the “music snobbery” coming from the girl who used to sing Easy E’s “Gimme That Nut” and Ace of Base from the tope of her lungs in grade school. 🙂 Love you Kitty.

  5. Touché, “Anon.” A-hole. 🙂

Impeccable memory, by the way. And I’m pretty sure I’ve got that Ace of Base single in storage somewhere. (Which, incidentally, I got from K Mac in grade four.) Because one should always be prepared for the Swedish [music] invasion.
