Colbert Portrait Hanging in the National Portrait Gallery

The National Portrait Gallery is my favorite museum in DC. And, now, it’s apparently sporting a portrait of Stephen Colbert. The DCist has the story and the clips of Colbert walking through DC with his portrait strapped to his back, and trying to convince the Smithsonian curator to hang it.

Check it out. (You can’t fight it.) In the meantime, if you’re in DC, you can see the Colbert portrait hanging above the bathroom on the second floor. šŸ™‚

Just in case you are interested in more on the Colbert portrait story, I wanted to point you to this reaction video that the Smithsonian Channel made.

You can find the video on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmmebxIVR7M

    Thanks and enjoy the video!
