Quickie

Hey friends. Hope you’re all well. Things are pretty busy in these parts so I haven’t really been able to catch up with you as of late.

Dan and I had our mothers out for a long holiday weekend and Monday I started a job which has given new meaning to the term ‘hit the ground running.’ Exhausted is a good word to sum up how I’ve been feeling since Friday.

To boot, I seem to have come down with a cold. No sympathy or attention, please—just your forgiveness for the lack of posts until things settle down a bit. Until then, you can browse new photos on my Flickr page and listen to some of our mutually agreed upon favorite artists pay tribute to Radiohead’s OK Computer.

So. What’s been keeping all of you busy?

  1. The man has been keeping me busy. Damn the man.

  2. P – Save the Empire! Ha.

Megan…if you need a break from grown up life, try making popcorn with Dan. The process when you don’t throw it into a microwave is something else!

  3. Haha. Sounds eventful. Though between the two of us, Dan and I break and spill a lot of stuff. Or maybe that’s just me…

  4. I say we go with blaming Dan on the spilling stuff… 🙂 Miss you!!! xxxoo

  5. …speaking of which, after a mishap last night — we are down to one wine glass….

  6. ha ha, you’ll have to put two bendy straws in it!

  7. Peter: Do you remember the free Sunny Delight twisty straws from back in the day? I still have a few lying around somewhere. They’re probably made out of that bad plastic that can poison you or give you cancer.

D: I’m glad this one wasn’t my fault. We need to find a Crate and Barrel one of these days. It’s a lot cheaper than going to a baseball game and saving our beer cups. 🙂

  8. Hey, congrats on the new job! Yay for pay checks! New jobs are always so exciting 🙂

  9. Hey thanks! I’m excited to get a little jangle in my pocket. There’s a lot to spend it on out here. 🙂
